Tutorial to Set Up Google Tag Manager Event Tracking

Tracking contact form submissions, phone call clicks, and more actions that take users off-site is possible with Tag Manager.

Google Tag Manager can help you not only keep track of scripts but also help you do more advanced tracking. Tag Manager has the ability to track when someone leaves your website, clicks a phone number or fill out a contact form.

If you need help setting up Google Tag Manager from the start, please read and watch the other tutorial on the basic setup.

This video takes you from the Tag Manager setup to the setup in the Google Analytics for goal tracking.

You can do some of this tracking within Google Analytics without Tag Manager, but I find it easier and requires less knowledge of websites.
